Innovate Foods at digital Innoveat 2020

Rietberg, 07 October 2020. Innovate Foods, part of the Frostkrone Food Group, is both sponsor and exhibitor at Innoveat 2020. Due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, the largest F&B fair for the UK market will take place exclusively digitally this year. The British company, Innovate Foods, is presenting its current product range at its virtual stand and is looking forward to a virtual exchange with buyers.

The official fair will take place between October 12th and 16th. On these days, contact persons at the Innovate Foods stand will be available for discussions and appointments every day. “This year new ideas and flexibility are needed to inform our target group of our current offers. We are happy to make use of the opportunities that Innoveat 2020 has to offer,” explains Tony Dumbreck, Managing Director of Innovate Foods Ltd.

The virtual marketplace has been open for a total of 30 days and during this time has given visitors unlimited access to those providers exhibiting. Buyers were able to register in advance, make appointments with contact persons and receive - as in previous years - a box of samples, which was sent prior the official start of the trade fair.

Presenting trends

The new “Green Date” free from product range is colourful and cheeky. An entire vegetable garden for the taste buds, which the consumer can see and taste from the very first bite. Because “Green Date is for everyone who wants to avoid meat yet still wants to avoid a dull and boring diet. There are six product variants available e.g.:

Smoky Touch: Whether sizzling in a hot pan or baked until golden brown in the oven: The consumer will experience the full taste of kidney beans, onions, corn and red pepper. The coating on this version kicks in with red chilli flakes in a crispy shell. Available in burger format.
Garden Quickie - available as mini balls and burgers - offers pure vegetable power: Crunchy fresh carrots, broccoli, spinach and peas, prepared with the inspiring kick of aromatic herbs and tiger nuts. The coating is a winning combination of parsley, chives and linseeds.
All Green Date products are gluten-free, contain no preservatives or flavour enhancers and are not pre-fried. They are available with either a gluten-free coating or naked.

Setting digital highlights

Innovate Foods presents the latest product innovations in short video sequences and offers visitors to the stand information material to download. Questions and further details are explained during virtual discussions.

Tony Dumbreck is confident that the trade fair appearance will be a success: “We are looking forward to some interesting discussions. The format is new, but we are optimistic that the exchange will also work well on a virtual level and that interest will be sparked.”
