Anuga 2023 - Frostkrone Food Group Reports Positive Outcome

Rietberg, 20th October 2023. The Frostkrone Food Group is delighted to announce a highly successful participation in ANUGA 2023. As a leading provider of finger food and snacks, they showcased an impressive range of products and solutions for both retail and food service. "Over the course of five days at the exhibition, visitors were able to witness the diversity and quality of our finger food and snacks. The stand attracted many international industry professionals keen to learn about the latest product innovations and sample them firsthand. Of particular interest were the vegan seafood options, which have recently expanded the offerings of the plant-based 'Really?!' food range.

The vegan calamari are remarkably similar in taste and texture to the original. Encased in a crispy coating, they make for excellent finger food or a side dish. Also boasting a delightful crunch are the plant-based shrimp, with a tender yet firm texture and a delicate flavour. This high-quality selection requires no elaborate preparation or prior culinary expertise.

For those seeking positive taste experiences, the chickpea sticks and vegan chickpea fries delivered. Crispy and golden on the outside, creamy and mildly nutty in flavour on the inside. Many were eager for seconds.

ANUGA, one of the world's largest and most prestigious trade fairs for food and beverages, took place in Cologne from 7th to 11th October. It attracts thousands of professionals from the food and beverage industry every two years, providing a platform for companies to showcase their innovations, products, and services.

A small surprise came in the form of the newly developed Burger Balls, a cheeseburger in a round finger food format. Initial hesitation was swiftly replaced with great enthusiasm. The concept offers numerous possibilities, whether for a flying buffet or a home party. Frostkrone Food Group announced that Burger Balls will soon be available in additional variations.

All finger food variations can be prepared to a golden brown perfection in just a few minutes using an oven, fryer, or hot air fryer, and can be consumed immediately. Furthermore, they have a long shelf life.
