Frostkrone Food Group Showcases Next-Generation Snacks at ANUGA 2025

Rietberg, 15 October 2025. Frostkrone Food Group has reported a highly successful outcome following ANUGA 2025. The Group demonstrated how modern and versatile finger-food and snack concepts can be, setting new benchmarks for retail and foodservice with its broad product range, pioneering innovations and strong international presence.

“That was our most successful ANUGA since the pandemic,” said Emiel Lommen, Global Commercial Director. “We made many new contacts at home and abroad. A lot of visitors came specifically to see us because they are looking for a reliable partner with growth potential. We are very pleased with the response.”

The company’s stand was busy throughout the event. The number of product launches on show clearly drew crowds, and interactive features added to the buzz. One popular attraction was the Cheesy Cam: visitors who tried the Cheesy Loops saw themselves and their reactions displayed live on the video wall, creating memorable, shareable moments.

Innovation Galore

The Group unveiled an enticing line-up of new products, several of which proved real crowd-pleasers at ANUGA:
Small, stylish and big on impact — the new Cheesy Loops are a genuine asset to any finger-food range. These golden-brown cheese rings are crisp on the outside and creamy within, the sort of snack that draws the eye and disappears even faster. The potato-and-cheese filling within a crunchy shell makes them a snack you come back to again and again, whether enjoyed alone, alongside burgers or served with salads. Available in three tempting varieties: Cheddar Potato, Cheddar Onion and Cheddar Jalapeño.

“Something like this exists?” many visitors wondered on seeing the Pizza Snack Box. A delightful surprise that prompted plenty of double-takes: the Pizza Snack Box combines oven-warm pizza pieces and finger-food with two perfectly matched dips in a single pack. Steaming, saucy and ready to share, it’s made for social gatherings, cosy evenings on the sofa or any moment that calls for a satisfying snack.

The Cheese Bites, a collaboration between Old Amsterdam and Frostkrone, drew attention both for their packaging and their flavour. Crispy outside, with the unmistakable taste of Old Amsterdam inside. “If you like cheese, you will love the Cheese Bites,” was the unanimous verdict. They will be available from October in REWE’s frozen range.

Sweet Dreams are the dessert surprise in empanada format. Small, sweet pastries with a crisp shell surround warm cherry compote, juicy apple, delicate vanilla cream or melting chocolate. They are ideal for air fryers, conventional ovens and professional equipment and come in four varieties: Cherry, Apple, Vanilla and Chocolate.

Trend Expertise: The Key to Success

Whether in retail or foodservice, finger-food that marries flavour, lifestyle and convenience has never been more sought after. “Many companies start from the ingredient; we start from the idea and spot trends early. That gives us greater agility and speed. Our goal is simple: more enjoyment and choice for retailers, foodservice operators and consumers,” says Frédéric Dervieux, Chief Executive Officer of Frostkrone Food Group.

This mindset continues to prove its worth. Each year, the Frostkrone team develops more than 100 new product ideas, with over 40 successfully entering the market — a clear sign that the company’s trend-led approach delivers commercially viable, on-trend innovations.
