What Amazing Vegetables
What Amazing Vegetables
Rietberg/Germany, 21 August 2020. The Frostkrone Food Group has discovered the world of greens and immediately given it a snack look. Green Date is the name of the new free-from food range. And this range certainly delivers what its name promises: all the ingredients are absolutely natural. You'll find nothing here that doesn't belong here. Just one bite and you're lost in pure vegetable bliss.
"All of us are a little bit in love with Green Date," reveals Frédéric Dervieux. "We wanted to create a completely new selection of finger food and snacks for our customers. Something where the feeling of Nature chimes together perfectly with snack appeal. Products that the consumer looks at and then wants to take a bite of immediately." Because for the Frostkrone Food Group a potpourri of dynamic variety remains the aspiration and the yardstick by which every innovation is measured.
For Vegans, Vegetarians, Flexitarians – For Everyone Who Loves Culinary Delights
The new snack range is for all those who wish to go meatless but who nevertheless do not intend to follow a monotonous diet.
The idea behind the concept: ingredients that you can see and taste – and that are as natural as they are delicious. A vegetable Garden of Eden awaits your taste buds – the selection of different types of carefully prepared vegetables ranges from peas, carrots, bell peppers, courgettes through sweet potatoes right up to kale. In our endeavours to protect as many of the substances in the rich, vegetable nutrient systems as possible, the handling process is especially minimal and gentle.
All the Green Date products are gluten-free, lactose-free and also free of all preservatives and flavour enhancers. They are not pre-fried, either.
With a Coating, Naked and a Great Selection
So that things definitely do not become boring, the Frostkrone Food Group has developed six different snack types. The product developers have homed in on the predilections and ingredients of various cultures and cuisines and married them together in such a way that new and exciting taste experiences have come into being.
The deep-frozen products are available in a variety of ways, e.g. as mini cakes, croquettes, balls and as burgers. And they are on offer with a coating or in the naked version.
- Curry Kiss: Fresh and fruity Indian-style and made of nutritious edamame beans in a delicious paste of mango and tiger nuts combined with apples, carrots, coconut flakes and onions. Tiger Nuts, the Crunchy Super Hero - Gluten-Free, Lactose-Free and Free of Allergens
But what is the secret hidden behind the sheer pleasure of biting into this crunchy sensation that gives your taste buds such a delicious kick? One ingredient that can hardly be beaten when it comes to nutrients: the tiger nut. The legendary powerhouse is brimming over with fibre, protein, iron, potassium, vitamin E and unsaturated fatty acids.
Although it is called a tiger nut and it tastes very similar to hazelnuts or almonds, the tiger nut is actually a tuber. It is free of allergens and also gluten-free and lactose-free.
